Head to the Brussels Central Station and hop on a bus at 8:30 am accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide. For approximately an hour and a half, you'll be able to sit back and watch the country’s pretty green landscape until you get to Bruges, situated 100 km northeast of the capital.

Bruges is a small town packed with striking buildings and monuments, which you'll discover accompanied by your knowledgeable guide. During your guided tour, explore the Lake of Love, the charming Walplein Square, the narrow Stoofstraat alley and the Beguinage, a convent founded in 1245 and still lived in by Benedictine nuns.

You'll then head onwards to Old Saint John’s Hospital, seeing the Church of Our Lady, the opulent Gruuthuse Palace and the scenic Dijver and Rozenhoedkaai Canals. Take in Bruges' beautiful architecture visiting Tanners Square, Castle Square, Market Square and Saint Salvator’s Cathedral and the Gothic Town Hall.

After seeing Bruges’ main landmarks, you'll have free time to continue exploring at your own pace for approximately four hours. We recommend stopping for a typical lunch, taking a look at the delicate lace made in Flanders since the 16th century and tasting the delicious Belgian chocolate.

After a full-day trip to this fascinating medieval city, take the bus back to Brussels, which gets to the city centre at around 6:30 pm.

Important Information
