Paris Catacombs Ticket

Your ticket to the Catacombs of Paris gives you skip-the-line access to one of the eeriest cemeteries in the French capital.

Located in the 14th arrondissement, next to the Montparnasse cemetery, the Catacombs of Paris are a sinister underground cemetery made up of numerous galleries of ossuaries.

During your visit, you'll walk through the great underground labyrinth of the catacombs. In these tunnels, which are 20 metres deep, you'll see the ossuaries of more than six million Parisians. Their mortal remains were transferred to the catacombs between the late 18th and early 19th centuries, when the capital's cemeteries had to close because they were unsanitary.

As you'll see, the bones are piled up along the walls of the underground galleries, but you can also find macabre sculptural ensembles made from the bones. So, on your visit to the Catacombs of Paris, you'll discover one of the grimmest and gloomiest faces of the French capital.
